Marketing is the action of improving the performance of the organization by identifying or creating needs in the marketplace and designing/producing products that meet those needs.  The goals of the Marketing section of the course are to ensure that students are able to:

  1. understand marketing terms and tools
  2. perform marketing financial feasibility
  3. perform marketing analysis
  4. put together a marketing plan

Some of the concepts we will study in Marketing include: The 4 Ps of a marketing strategy (Product, Price, Promotion, Place (Distribution), marketing research,  and market segmentation.
